"I graduated from Universidad De Ciencias Aplicades y Ambientales in Bogota, Colombia in August 2001. I worked for one year at the state lab in large animal vaccine testing, then moved to Orlando where I voluteered at Affiliated Veterinary Specialists for one year. I became an associate of Luv-N-Care Animal Hospital in 2007. Most recently, I became a board member for the Seminole County Animal Services. I live with my girlfriend, dog Lorenza, and cats: Noe, Mone, Hadley, and GG.
My favorite part about veterinary medicine is surgery, internal medicine, and oncology."

"I have been in the veterinary field for 13 years. I gained my knowledge by self-learning experiences and through doctors and fellow pet nurses. I worked for the previous hospital for 12 years. I started in kennel, worked into reception, then pushed my way as a pet nurse. Through my work experience I wanted to continue working in the veterinary field but I needed new challenges. I didn't want to go as high as being a veterinarian but decided that practicing as a manager would be the challenge I wanted. I love that I still get to work in the field but will get through the days with less battle scars. My pets at home include Akema, Big Boy, and Little one, all 13 year old felines; I also have four other cats and one big, drooley dog.
My favorite aspect of working in the vet industry is simply knowing what we do makes a difference for our patient's well-being. the ultimate reward is watching that patient who is sick, recover and continue living a happy life with their owners."

Stacey Little
"Senior Receptionist"

"I have always worked in the animal field; helping at the greyhound rescue center, working as a kennel technician, and learning hands-on how to be a pet nurse and receptionist. I have three dogs: Rukus, Bear and Roo. Also two pygmy goats, Baby Girl and Wrangler.
My favorite part of working at a veterinary clinic is seeing all the different breeds of dogs and cats. I love helping sick patients and teaching owners about animal care."

Brena James
"I received on the job training as a veterinary receptionist nearly five years ago. I later advanced as a pet nurse and held this position for two and a half years. From 2007-2009 I worked for a holistic vet practice that specialized in small animals and exotic species. I later moved to another hospital where I gained more hands-on experience. I took a personal leave to return to school and further my education. I have been with Luv-N-Care since 2011. I currently has two, four-legged babies. Prissy, a black & white chihuahua, and her recently adopted BIG brother, Boo, a brown & white tabby tomcat.
My favorite aspect of working in the veterinary field is developing relationships with other pet parents and educating them on ways to ensure their babies live long and healthy lives."

Heather Gordon
"Senior Pet Nurse"
"I have been working with Dr. Singh & Associates since August 3, 1993. My experience is derived from hands-on learning through the doctors and other pet nurses. I am married with three children and three grandchildren. I have a dog named Rico and a cat named Edgar.
My favorite part of veterinary medicine of course is all the patients that come in with different personalities. I love to see them feeling better when they leave. I also like educating clients so they are well informed of the process of keeping their pets healthy."

Vanessa Clay
"Team Leader"
"I have been with Dr. Singh since December 2010 and have worked in the veterinary field since 2002. I graduated from high school and took a short break from school; I am now beginning my track towards vet school to be a licensed veterinarian. All experience to this point has been through hands-on learning and continuing education through the North American Veterinary Conference. I have experience with small animals, pocket pets, avians, exotics, and two years experience in the emergency clinic. I am married with three hairy children, a dog named Kiwi, and two cats, Stubbz and Sparkles. Living with my parents, we share a home with two other dogs, Rogue and Gizmo, and eight cats, Boo Bear, Scribbles, Buster, Storm, Tux, Thumbs, Baby Girl (Omega), and Baby Boy.
Working with animals and caring for them in their time of need is my passion. I love educating pet owners and making them happy by making their pets healthy."

Lauren Keane
"I began working at Pet Rescue by Judy, where I stayed for one year. I have been with Luv-N-Care for a little over a year now; I started as a kennel technician and have moved my way up as a pet nurse. All my experience in the veterinary field as been self-learned. I am currently a full-time student at UCF majoring in psychology. I am also a dancer and have been since age four. I love to read and spend time with friends and family. I have a long-haired daschund, Kahlua, who is Princess of the house, and Goose, a corgi/english bulldog mix who just follows the leader.
I like surgeries and all the prep work associated with surgery, including intubation. I also like drawing blood and placing catheters."

Katie Sheqda
"I gained my knowledge in the vet field from self-learning experiences with doctors and pet nurses. I started off doing kennel when I was in high school. Also volunteered at shelters and wildlife rescue organizations. I have been a pet nurse for two years. When I am not at work I spend my time visiting all the local theme parks, listening to music, and reading. I am passionate about food and my friends. I recently adopted a kitty from R.A.I.N who I named "Link" after the video game Zelda. He is the most adorable cat in the world.
My favorite aspect of the veterinary field is that I love the reward of seeing an animal not feeling well and helping to make them feel better. I enjoy meeting all the pet owners and educating them on how to care for their pets."
