Laser is incorporated in many procedures such as spay, neuter, feline declaw, eye surgeries, and tumor removals, some only requiring local anesthesia.
Feline and Canine Spays & Neuters: Fixing your pet is an important part of maintaining quality health and increasing the life span of your friend. Chosing not to neuter your male dog or cat could result in testicular cancer, prostate enlargement or prostate cancer, aggression, urine marking, and dominate displays such as humping. Not spaying your female dog or cat could result in breast or uterine cancer, pyometra (infection of the uterus in which it fills with pus and is life threatening), aggression, urine marking, and dominate displays such as humping.
Laser De-Clawing for Cats: Less pain and swelling, and minimal bleeding after surgery means a quicker and more comfortable recovery from surgery.

Dental services:
We are equipped with a state of the art dental unit to perform routine and complex dental cleanings. While under anesthesia your pet will recive a deep cleaning to remove all existing tartar. The teeth will be assessed and extractions performed if needed. Some pets may be eligible for tooth bonding versus extraction. After cleaning the teeth will be polished smooth, treated with fluoride to strengthen the tooth surface, and an oravet barrier sealant to protect the teeth for up to two week after the dental cleaning. An at home oravet care kit is recommended to increase efficacy of barrier sealant.
We offer digital dental x-rays to assess the health of the tooth root and teh bone that supports that teeth. Treatment recommended could include surgical extraction, periodontal treatment, fracture repair or root canals.
