Do you know where to turn should your pet need urgent medical attention?

As a loving pet parent, you never want to see your furry family member experiencing any kind of distress. Unfortunately, unexpected illnesses and sudden accidents happen. At Luv-N-Care Animal Hospital, we want you to know that you’ve got a dedicated team of skilled professionals in your corner.

Our hospital is equipped to provide urgent medical care during our regular business hours. Drawing on our years of experience, our team will quickly diagnose the problem and deliver the most timely and effective care possible. Most importantly, we’ll handle your loved one’s case with the utmost compassion, doing everything within our power to achieve a positive outcome.

Some of the signs that your pet may need urgent medical attention include:

  • Abscesses
  • Coughing
  • Ear Infections
  • Fever
  • Hives/Swelling Reactions
  • Limping
  • Minor Vomiting or Diarrhea
  • Skin Allergies
  • Superficial Cuts or Wounds

If you notice any of these signs, contact Luv-N-Care Animal Hospital right away. We always recommend calling ahead whenever possible. This allows us to assess the situation, provide first aid instructions over the phone, and prepare for your pet’s arrival.

While Luv-N-Care Animal Hospital is equipped and prepared to handle the above urgent care situations, should your pet experience any of the following signs or symptoms, we advise you to immediately seek assistance from a dedicated emergency veterinary clinic:

  • Difficulty Breathing
  • Dry Heaving or Possible Bloating
  • Fall From Height
  • Foreign Body Ingestion
  • Difficulty Giving Birth
  • Traumatic Injury (e.g. struck by a vehicle)
  • Repeated Seizures
  • Refusal to Eat or Drink for 2+ Days
  • Loss of Consciousness

If you are unsure whether your pet’s condition requires urgent care or emergency medical attention, and our clinic is open, feel free to call us and someone from our team can advise you on your specific case. We can also recommend an emergency care facility if need be.

We sincerely hope you never experience the need for urgent veterinary care, but if you do, we want you to know where to turn. The team at Luv-N-Care Animal Hospital is here to provide the best possible care.
